The Mekong River, runs from the Himalaya mountains in southern China, across Myanmar and northern Laos before entering intoThailand in front of Chiang Saen River Hill Hotel. We offer boat trips from the nearby pier to the Sipsong Panna region, as well as to Myanmar and Laotian borders, and also go south to Luang Pra Bang, the former capital of Laos, which is considered to be a new world heritage site.
Visitors can start a journey at dawn from Chiang Saen River Hill, and travel to Mandalay and Chiang Tung in Myanmar to experience some of the regions ancient, charming culture, and then connect to the Sipsong Panna region by road.
